IARC was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, a reputed university in India along with its 22nd technical fest, TECHKRITI. Competing with 8 other teams who were the winners in zonal and national competitions held previously in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka with over 250 participant teams, makes this a remarkable achievement.
Being novices, with not more than a year of experience, the winning team boasts the championship in Sri Lanka Robotics Challenge (SLRC)-2015 and proudly the 2nd runner up in International Robotics Challenge (IRC)-2015 organized by IIT Bombay in India.
Over the past few years, teams from UoM have been making history claiming for international victories in robotics. Being the technical hub of the island and possessing young, skillful aspirants with spirit who are ready to change the world with technology, UoM awaits its next victory.
